job summary:

Tatum is assisting an airline in a search for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. This person will report to the Financial Reporting Manager. The position is on a Hybrid work schedule. salary: $80,000 - 90,000 per year

education: Bachelor's degree

experience: 1 Years

responsibilities:

advise and support the Manager, Financial Reporting, to meet the Company's obligations
prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and comprehensive income statement
collect and analyze financial data, ensuring all reporting is in compliance with GAAP
assist in system implementation
assist in implementing internal controls
ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
analyze and oversee reconciliation of various general ledger accounts related to revenue and ad-hoc
contribute to the close consolidation process
contribute to the year-end reporting and audit process

qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum 3 years of experience with SOX or Public Accounting Firm
Advanced knowledge of GAAP
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience
CPA is preferable
