Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) -This position prepares and edits medical claims for submission, both hard copy and electronically, to various 3rd party payors and clearinghouses. -**Please Note** -The office is based in Las Vegas, NV where we work Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote)Primary Responsibilities:Interact with customers gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepanciesProvide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing functionEducate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applicationsMonitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billedManage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivablesMay also include quality assurance and audit of billing activitiesResolve most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levelsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:

• High school education or GED
• 2+ years of A/R Medical Billing experience including Claims Status, claim appeals/reconsiderations, charge entry, payment entry and AR follow-up
• Experience with and understanding of ICD10 and CPT coding - including modifiers
• Solid Data Entry skills which includes 10-key by touch
• Basic computer skills with MS Outlook, Word and ExcelPreferred Qualifications:
  • Medicare and/or Medicaid billing experience
  • APM or NextGen experience
