Description: Responsibilities Basic PurposeProvides administration of customer contracts. Leads the preparation of various contracts, agreements, and addendums for review and approval. Tracks documents through the life of the contract. Maintains contract files and documentation, including confidential information used for regulatory hearings and litigation. Manages and resolves contract compliance issues including milestone tracking and performance. Manages major equipment purchases and works as a liaison with supply chain to ensure critical equipment is procured and delivered to meet project schedules. Supports project execution by assisting in project management tasks to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to project schedules. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages various Generation contracts.

  • Leads the development of agreements for Generation projects.
  • Ensures overall compliance of the terms and conditions of the contract with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Identifies terms and conditions to the Project Manager and project team.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to minimize contractual risks to the Company.
  • Reviews transactions under the terms of the contract.
  • Manages and resolves contract compliance issues including tracking performance.
  • Assists with dispute resolutions as needed.
  • Ensures approvals and appropriate documentation are received and maintained as needed.
  • Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company. Manages major equipment procurement activities associated with Generation projects to ensure that delivery of critical components is achieved to support project schedules.
    • Develops and manages bid events for major equipment purchases.
    • Collaborates with Project Managers regarding contracts, procurement of material, and coordination of project schedules.
    • Collaborates with internal departments to minimize procurement risks to the Company.
    • Reviews bid events to determine award recommendations.
    • Coordinates with various vendors, equipment suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
    • Manages material requisitions and purchase order activities. Maintains contract documentation as needed, including master database of all customer contracts associated with project development, management, and close-out.
      • Facilitates audits, true-ups, and close-outs/expirations of contracts with Project Managers.
      • Assists with reviewing charges on projects with progress billings as a contract term.
      • Assists in maintaining a record of project scope, contract terms and conditions, invoices, and billing to respond to external audits after the completion of a project.
      • Represents the project development and project management teams in major process improvement and technology initiatives.
      • Recommends changes to project management business processes and systems to improve efficiencies, accuracy, and customer service.
      • Evaluates current business processes and seeks to improve internal operations wherever possible.
      • Responds to data requests submitted by internal and external customers. Assists in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure project objectives are met.
        • Supports Project Managers in developing and updating project schedules, work plans, and timelines.
        • Assists in coordinating project activities, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
        • Tracks project progress against milestones and deadlines, identifying potential delays and suggesting corrective actions.
        • Assists in preparing and updating project documentation, including scope, deliverables, and budgets.
        • Facilitates team meetings, prepares meeting agendas, and documents meeting outcomes and action items.
        • Supports project close-out activities, including final reporting, audits, and lessons learned documentation.Analyzes and interprets applicable PUCN, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and other industry-related rules and regulations, reports to management potential impact on company goals and objectives. Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company. Performs related duties as assigned. Requirements Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
          Education and Work Experience
          Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in the area of specialty and 5 years of related experience. Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 9 years of related work experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills
          Demonstrated knowledge of:
          • Business processes used in for the development, design, installation, and close-out of Generation projects.
          • Company's strategic plan, objectives, as well as policies, procedures, and practices.
          • Contract administration, analysis, and cost tracking.
          • Analysis of financial information.
          • Development of equipment specifications, request of proposals, and managing bid events for major material
          • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.Demonstrated skills such as:
            • Analytical, interpersonal and communication.
            • Reading and interpreting contract language
            • Time management, attention to detail, and customer service
            • Multi-tasking and working in a team-oriented environment and independently

              General office environment. No special physical demands required. Compensation Annual Salary: $87,600 (Min) to $103,100 (Mid); Up to 12% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company.
