Connecting. Growing together. /n The Specialty Pharmacy Technician
will effectively support the successful implementation and
execution of all pharmacy programs and processes. The Specialty
Pharmacy Technician will provide support to the pharmacy staff to
ensure applicable program processes and operational
responsibilities are met. /n Schedule: Open 7 days per week, 40
hours per week. Weekdays: 7:30am – 8:00pm PST. Weekends: 8:00am –
7: 00 pm PST Rotating holidays and weekends. The supervisor will
determine the schedule. On-call to be determined. /n Location: 6720
Placid Street, Las Vegas, NV 89119 /n Primary Responsibilities: /n
/n - Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information /n -
Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve
claims issues /n - Process prescriptions (from intake to order
completion) /n - Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate
information is provided /n - Consistently meet established
productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while
maintaining a good attendance record /n - Fulfillment of
prescription orders /n - Ability to interpret prescription orders
and enter into the pharmacy system /n - Answering the telephone
utilizing appropriate etiquette /n - Documenting interventions and
tracking outcomes with Pharmacy team /n - Other duties as assigned

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: /n /n - High
School Diploma/GED (or higher) /n - Active Pharmacy Technician
license in the state of Nevada /n - Intermediate level of
proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, and the
ability to learn new and complex computer system applications /n -
Ability to work variable shifts which may include days, evenings,
weekends, and holidays (Mon-Fri hours: 7:30am - 8pm, Sat/Sun:
8am-7pm) /n - Willing to participate in the on-call rotation /n /n
Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - National certification as a
Pharmacy Technician /n - 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
/n - 6 months of experience with insurance claims processing,
rejection, and resolution /n - Experience with various insurances,
pre-approval & authorizations process, and rejections /n - Sterile
compounding experience /n /n Soft Skills: /n /n - Ability to work
independently and maintain good judgment and accountability /n -
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines /n
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
/n - Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers
/n - Strong organizational and time management skills /n -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak
clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that
others can understand, as well as ability to understand and
interpret information from others /n /n /n PLEASE NOTE The sign-on
bonus is only available to external candidates. Candidates who are

related entity in a full time, part time or per diem basis

bonus. /n /n The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per
hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
