Job Description:
BASIC FUNCTION:The car wash ticket writer is responsible for the
sale and explanation of products and services, prep of vehicles,
printing tickets for washes PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND
ACTIVITIES:
- Regular/consistent attendance at the business setting
- The Car Wash Ticket Writer will be able to successfully
demonstrate all Car Wash functions and a strong sales ability prior
to being promoted to the Car Wash Ticket Writer position.
- Understand all Car Wash processes and products and be prepared
to perform them as needed: prepping, washing and drying vehicles,
facility cleaning
- Explain and sell available products and services at booth and
customer service areas, including the Car Wash Club, while
demonstrating confidence in the company and the products we offer;
answer customer questions clearly and concisely
- Operate cash register; tender transactions in a prompt,
accurate manner, open/close register
- Wash towels, maintain equipment and building
- Work with minimal amount of supervision under stressful
conditions; stays busy during downtime
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors and
team members
- Customer interaction in a confident and friendly manner
- Practices and follows all safety protocol when operating
equipment
- Detail-oriented
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs REPORTS TO: Car
Wash Manager and/or Car Wash Supervisor INTERACTIONS: Customers,
vendors and Pit Stop team membersREQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:Must
have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the
Immigrations Act of 1986 Education: High school diploma or GED; or
one to three months related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience Experience:
Customer service and sales experience preferred Knowledge: Sales
knowledge preferred; Basic math skills with the ability to add,
subtract, multiply and divide; Cash register, calculator, and basic
computer skillsCompetency: To perform the job successfully, an
individual should successfully demonstrate the following

to maintain the flow of vehicles in between customers.Attention to
Detail Demonstrates the ability to add, subtract, multiply and
divide accurately;Successfully demonstrates the ability to perform
all job functions such as identifying counterfeit funds, running
the cash register with few errors, and completing cashier functions
thoroughly, completely and with attention to small details; Remains
alert at all times to ensure quality work and a safe work
environment; Recognizes similarities and differences between words

Position in which an employee could be promoted: Trainer,
Supervisor/Lead Working conditions: Indoor/outdoor environment; in
outdoor conditions, extreme temperature ranges may be encountered
such as exposure to hot summer sun and winter weather. The noise
level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Must be
able to work a flexible schedule/shift. Physical demands:
Repetitive full body movement 95%; standing for prolonged time 95%,
squatting 95%, twisting 95%, kneeling 95%, bending 95%, stooping
95%, fast pace walking and light jogging when necessary, lifting or
moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times, and
exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be
