As a member of the OptumRx PBM Marketing team, the Sr. Consumer Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for managing the communications strategy to attract and activate consumers in pharmacy benefit features as well as in navigating changes to their pharmacy benefit coverage to achieve trend management and value targets. This position will have direct involvement in designing, developing and deploying marketing campaigns and communications that reach consumers in our employer, government, and health plan markets, as well as evolving existing campaigns to leverage multi-channel outreach while still meeting client and mandated requirements. The primary focus of this role is on digital benefits transparency and early consumer digital engagement, prior to plan effective dates.

Additionally, the ideal candidate must have demonstrated the ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast paced, results oriented work environment. You must be highly motived, rollup up your sleeves, self-starter with a passion for communicating in new and disruptive ways. Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Design/re-design, implement and manage marketing programs focusing on building awareness and driving consumer engagement with their pharmacy benefits while still meeting necessary business requirements
  
• Ensure alignment of member engagement strategy with overall client communications strategy, branding, culture and solution design
  
• Develop consumer communications strategy and campaign plans including test strategies to maximize response
  
• Develop and pilot new consumer engagement approaches and programs
  
• Monitor results and modify strategy accordingly
  
• Work with peers to integrate efforts and share best practices
  
• Understand consumer mindset and barriers to adoption by leading and coordinating consumer research
  
• Work with internal and external marketing and creative services to meet program objectives and develop multi-modal, integrated campaigns
  
• Represent marketing and the consumer experience on cross functional teams
  
• Develop and manage campaign budgets to support recommended strategies
  
• Provide consulting/advice to internal business leaders to facilitate development of effective external communications (e.g., messaging, timing, branding, preference management and access)
  
• Contribute to/create cost benefit analyses in support of campaign enhancements and growth

  Required Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    
  • 5+ years of experience in building consumer marketing/direct response marketing campaigns
    
  • 5+ years of experience with managing and prioritizing multiple deliverables
    
  • 3+ years project management experience
    
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare and/or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry
    
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

      Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
