Job summary:The Coordinator provides marketing communications support in the areas of content production, advertising, promotions and public relations. Manages marketing communications projects to support sales and brand awareness at the national level.
Your day will look like this:

  • Develops editorial content for social media, trade publications, website and promotional/sales materials.
  • Works with creative resources to develop and implement advertising messages, strategies and focused campaigns
  • Develops a general understanding and knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers and applies that knowledge to marketing plans and strategies
  • Works with creative resources and unit management to develop and implement promotional materials such as market-specific brochures, sales kits and multimedia sales presentations. Facilitates the use of promotional materials
  • Coordinates and implements tradeshow and special event content and promotional strategies by with working external vendors, internal stakeholders and the rest of the marketing team.
  • Assists the Marketing Manager in efforts to work more closely with internal vertical groups across the US
  • Works with Marketing Manager and Creative Services to develop content for Internet sites and Social Media outlets; implement new sites and coordinate future/ongoing updates
  • Coordinates marketing production for promotional and branded items
  • Distributes materials as needed. Works with current suppliers to create and maintain correct contact information for the distribution of all promotional materials
  • Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data
    Your profile:
    • A 4-year college or university degree in Marketing Communications, Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years exempt experience, which is in a related, relevant industry is recommended
    • Equivalent experience may be substituted for education
    • Ability to write and edit copy/communications
    • Experience in B2B environments and is an asset
    • Effective communications skills that appropriately convey company/industry information
    • Ability to work independently or in a group environment
    • Graphic design and video editing skills are a major asset (ability to size-crop images for social media and website, or use templates to create branded documents or ads)
    • Ability to collaborate with other communications and content experts in a team environment
    • Demonstrated ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing situation
    • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing communication strategies, terms and processes
    • Demonstrated knowledge of creative production processes
    • Proven project management skills
    • Demonstrated attention to details
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of personnel and with external suppliers
    • Proven written and verbal communication skills
    • Professional demeanor
    • Demonstrated organizational skills
    • Ability to negotiate sensitive issues and maintain confidential status of sensitive information
    • Ability and willingness to travel multiple times per year
