As an AWS DevOps Engineer III, you will help improve automation,
infrastructure reliability, and enable engineering teams to use new
technologies in a scalable, reliable, and highly available way. You
will oversee and lead the activities junior DevOps engineers.
You'll be responsible for the automation of all manual tasks for
the building and deployment of both code and data to enable
continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks to AWS
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work with Architecture and Engineering teams to plan, deploy, and
maintain software applications in AWS cloud environments.
Work closely with the software development team to define, build,
and design DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
pipelines for multiple applications.
Support and sustain the Development AWS infrastructure.
Design and develop automation whenever the opportunity arises.
Perform system administration duties.
Plan and document disaster recovery steps as well as generate
Investigate and prototype new tools for the improvement of software
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security
clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related
technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education,
technical training, or work/military experience.
5+ years' experience administering one or more Linux
Knowledge of traditional server concepts (networking, storage,
5+ years' experience with Linux administration, troubleshooting,
performance tuning & security in a production environment.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate / Professional.
AWS Certified SysOps Associate / DevOps Professional.
Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and
translate their needs into a technical solution.
Experience with security best practices.
Experience with log aggregation strategies.
Experience with NoSQL (MongoDb) and SQL (PostgreSQL and MySQL)
Knowledge of Splunk and AppDynamics is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a DevSecOps/DevOps
environment, utilizing AWS services, solutions, and
provisioning/automating AWS infrastructure, services, and
Minimum of 3 years working with Infrastructure as Code
(CloudFormation/CodePipeline or Terraform preferred).
Proven experience with AWS platform and tools, such as EC2, Lambda,
S3, ECS, RDS, RDS, VPC, IAM and security, CloudTrail, CloudWatch,
Systems Manager, SNS, AMI generation, Cost Optimization.
Experience in designing and developing DevOps pipeline/automation
scripts to support continuous integration & continuous delivery
(CI/CD) using Agile processes.
Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab Jenkins,
Bamboo, SonarQube, Artifactory, CodeDeploy and others.
Solid experience with Docker image/container primitives and
orchestration suites (e.g., ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, ECR, Fargate,
Experience with configuration management automation platforms (e.g.
Systems Manager, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible).
Strong scripting skills with one or more languages (e.g. Bash,
Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.).
Be able to work independently and proactively with little
supervision, but also must work well with others in a team

Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties while operating

be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving,
