can diagnose and repair all areas. Minimum of two years of

Training minimum of once a year. Essential Duties Performs work as
outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in
accordance with dealership and factory standards. Diagnoses the
cause of any malfunction and performs repair. Communicate with the
parts department to obtain needed parts. Saves and tags parts of
the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer. Examines
assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is
required or recommended. Communicate immediately with the service
advisor if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not
needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles when required to ensure the vehicle is
repaired. Maintain all online training and certifications as
Porsche outlined. Keeps abreast of Porsche technical bulletins in
the PPN Portal. Reports shop or special tool defects or
malfunctions to Shop Foremen. Ensures that customers' cars are kept
cleanNotifies service advisor immediately of anything that has
happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Keeps shop work area neat and clean. Maintains and is accountable
for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the
proper place and in the same condition as received. Understands,
keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local
regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know,
etc. Operates all tools and equipment safely. Reports any safety
issues immediately to management. Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must

equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or six

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to
speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the
organization. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from managers,
clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Applying common sense
understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few
