Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Social Media is responsible for the execution of strategic and tactical initiatives for Credit One Bank's marketing efforts through social and digital channels. Working closely with the Assistant Vice President of Social Strategy, this position will develop tactical recommendations and creative execution for relevant and innovative social content to meet the organization's growth goals. This role will champion Credit One Bank's efforts to plan, develop and promote high-quality content that reinforces the brand promise to engage existing and future card members. Candidate must be well-versed in present and emerging digital and social platforms, as well as understanding consumer behavior to make the Bank's brand meaningful to each audience. Significant experience with content planning and creation are integral to this position's success.
This position is based in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. This is not a remote position.
Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Execute content marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement across social and digital platforms from both organic and paid perspectives
  • Translate strategic business initiatives in to monthly and quarterly content calendars that engage and expand the Credit One Bank audience through best-in-class creative and impactful storytelling
  • Apply proven skills to create, develop and execute social strategies and tactics that reflect channel differentiation, day-to-day communication needs and brand campaign initiatives
  • Concept, design, and produce visually compelling content, supported by well-written copy, to "stop the scroll" and ensure a strong representation of the Credit One Bank brand in all social channels
  • Act as community manager on brand channels to engage audiences
  • Proactively monitor social conversations to recognize real-time opportunities to capitalize on brand alignment, while identifying potential threats to the company's reputation
  • Partner with content marketing team to leverage SEO-optimized short-form and long-form content on social channels
  • Complete monthly, campaign, and other required reporting to leverage data and derive insights to enhance brand campaign strategy and tactical implementation
  • Work closely with the larger marketing team and compliance to support brand-wide initiatives, improve publishing routines/timelines and support efforts to measure the impact of content throughout the marketing lifecycle
  • Coordinate and execute social influencer strategies and campaigns
  • Support sponsorships with real-time and opportunistic content, including athlete and celebrity talent
  • Educate team members on ever-evolving social platforms and competitive or industry examples that grow the impact of social content
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to determine paid amplification opportunities along with testing and measurement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to identify newsworthy content and opportunities
  • Knowledge of other digital advertising functions to develop and maximize synergistic activities within the marketing department
  • Forward thinking, creative and opportunistic - candidate must be a big picture, long-term thinker
  • Utilize strong, articulate and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a collaborative "go-to" partner within an energetic and hard-working team of multi-disciplinary marketing and advertising leaders
  • Percent of time spent traveling: 0-5%
    Position Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a communications-related field
    • 5-7+ years of consulting or client-side experience in social media and content strategy for a mid- to large-size national brand
    • Expert with social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and other emerging channels/platforms
    • Proven examples of managing social media listening tools and social advertising strategies, as well as creating executive-level reports and summaries derived from social media reporting tools
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and data interpretation skills with the capability to transform data into actionable insights
    • An eye for creative with a decision-making skillset and familiarity with production budgeting
