Job Description:
A software technology company is searching for a person to fill
their position for a Remote Data Science Manager. Core
Responsibilities of this position include: Creating and maintaining
dashboards and other reporting tools to identify trends using data
to drive the business to action Understanding and using the data
warehouse and relational databases Leading a high-performing,
high-throughput team of 3-5 talented data analysts and data
scientists Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Proficient with data mining and visualization tools such Python, R,
SAS, Java, Tableau, Power BI as well as querying languages (SQL,
etc) Highly seasoned experience related Data Science or equivalent
combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree (or
equivalent experience) Experience managing Data Science staff Drive
the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data
sources Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, scope
projects, identify proper resources, prioritize tasks,
realistically estimate work
