Position Summary The VP of Quality will be responsible for the Gaming enterprise Quality across Scientific Games (SG) product and services value chain. This leader is essential in the creation and growth of a quality culture at SG, improvement of product quality, and development of the Quality Management System. This role would be directly engaged in the voice of the customer, driving customer centricity and initiatives to resolve customer concerns. In addition to the enterprise quality engagement responsibilities, this role would be focused on process improvement to service and product offerings ensuring quality to SG's customers. Essential Job Functions: Customer Quality advocate that will ensure there is actionable feedback from customers. Ability to monitor customer feedback and drive action to resolve issues impacting customers. Functional quality responsibilities that include all aspects of the supply chain and fulfillment network to ensure customer centricity and customer satisfaction. Supplier Quality leader to continually drive improvements in the supplier quality management. Implementation of clear CTQ's to ensure that suppliers are measuring and adhering to outbound quality requirements.-- Direct engagement with suppliers to ensure quick action and containment by vendors, and further ensuring that suppliers are driving closure to corrective actions. Build relationships with supplier leadership that enable influence and ability to escalate critical issues. Field Service quality engagement to ensure clear understanding of the challenges with new product deployment, product delivery, break fix, and preventative maintenance. Work closely with the field service organization and engineering to ensure products are design with serviceability as a critical consideration. Leadership managing field defects, driving cross functional containment and systemic resolution. Coordinate cross functional issue management. Work closely with all product and customer service functions: Commercial Sales, Customer Operations, Order Management, Manufacturing, Delivery, and Field Services. Engaged in New Product Introduction (NPI) - working collaboratively with the HW engineering, platform, software, and content development teams to ensure successful product launches that meet quality expectations. Build a culture of quality and customer focus in the organization. Develop our people to understand how we all contribute to quality, education, learning, and create visibility for the team.-- Create a high performing quality management team that can work seamlessly across the larger organization enabling collaboration and quick turn around on issue resolution. Engage other quality leaders and functions within the SG organization responsible for Software, Platform, Systems, Hardware and Game Content to identify common goals and facilitate alignment. Implementation of Quality Metrics to monitor enterprise quality performance. Develop strategy to further integrate quality into the organization.-- Engage with independent testing laboratories to ensure maximum efficiency of the approval cycle and quickly address any quality related issues. Qualifications Demonstrated delivery in quality improvements within a product development environment. Enabled improvements to manufacturing processes to reduce the defects delivered to customer. Identify and drive initiatives to improve customer experience. Experienced in managing cost of quality programs and delivering on quality improvements. Experienced with Quality management tools and systems. Past success implementing Quality management systems and achieving certification. Experience with statistics, data management, enterprise quality reporting Education: Bachelor of Science, Engineering, and/or Equivalent Experience Masters in Engineering, and MBA are preferred. Background in Lean, SPC, Six sigma, Continuous Improvement Training or Equivalent experience in ISO9001, Malcolm Bald ridge and other quality certifications. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Build strong relationships across the organization. Demonstrate the SG core values and provide leadership across the entire organization. Supplier Quality Management Ability to implement Quality Systems Ability to create and grow a culture of quality Lead development of quality training, drive quality development capabilities within the employee base. Change management capabilities Sound judgement and decision-making evaluating trade offs impacts to business and ultimate focus on customer. Physical Requirements: This position operates in a professional office environment.
