Job Requirements and Preferences: Basic Qualifications: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience: 4 year(s) Preferred Qualifications: Degree Preferred: Bachelor Degree Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources Management Certification(s) Preferred: SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP; PHR/SPHR; CBP Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the policies and protocols related to benefit plan administration. Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: * Solving problems, prioritizing tasks, independently making decisions, and/or escalating and consulting with leaders on challenging issues; * Communicating cogently to all levels of internal staff and management, both verbal and written; * Possessing in-depth attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to be agile; * Managing and completing projects by deliverable dates; * Working with leaders to leverage knowledge into actionable tasks; and, * Identifying and resolving complex issues. Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in leveraging advanced functionality for analyzing and manipulating data, including the following: * Administering PwC ITSCo (US) benefit plans including comprehensive understanding of plan documents, data analysis, benefit calculations, communications and implementation of benefit elections and payments; * Managing the daily benefits administration operations including oversight of team deliverables for quality; * Developing and managing the creation of procedural manuals; and, * Demonstrating experience with Microsoft Suite of tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Suite (e.g. Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive/Team Drive etc.), and Business Intelligence (BI) analysis tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI etc.) and exposure to technologies such as Google Scripts and UI Path. Demonstrates extensive knowledge in the strategic planning, implementation and administration of employee benefit programs that creates distinctive value and establishes competitiveness in the marketplace including the following areas: * Analyzing program's performance through plan experience, utilization, efficacy, and cost; * Identifying gaps in design based on the program's stance in the marketplace and recommend modifications by creating a data-backed business case for change; * Recommending benefits vendors, consultants, brokers, trustees, etc. for selection in delivering Program objectives and serve as the primary contact for these third parties; * Establishing compliance with all applicable legal requirements including federal, state and government regulatory filings and processes; and, * Developing policies and procedures related to employee benefit programs. Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success: * Understanding of the Disability and Leave policies and how to administer them; * Understanding and confirming state regulations interplay and compliance with federal regulations, and multiple types of leaves (Disability, Family Medical, Parental, Military, etc.); * Reviewing and updating necessary communications and plan materials to employees and key stakeholders throughout the leave process such as leave notification letters, approval letters, leave information packets, etc.; * Managing relationships with PwC ITSCo (US) third party vendors of all leave/disability related Health & Welfare plans, and third party administrators; * Providing positive, responsive and knowledgeable customer service to employees, management, and vendors; * Tracking accurately and following up on timing issues around leaves of absence, including deadlines for responses from employees, follow-up correspondence due dates, and expected return to work dates; * Analyzing and consulting with HR and Legal regarding all ADA (American with Disabilities Act) accommodation requests; and, * Demonstrating problem solving ability with thorough experience in complex issue resolution.
