  • Prepares floor plans, site plans, equipment and component design drawings and other drawings for construction and remodel projects.
  • Provide AutoCAD / Revit MEP technical support for engineering staff.
  • Maintain a high level of standards for all projects throughout the company.
  • Provide training for all staff.
  • Oversee the Navisworks 3D clash detection coordination studies done for all Revit projects.
  • Coordinate all BIM requirements and needs with design teams.
  • Maintain relationships with clients regarding 3D coordination of documents/models.
  • May be required to represent the firms CAD/BIM capabilities at client interviews.
  • Any other job duties as assigned.Qualifications:
    • Ability to effectively use AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Must have experience with Revit MEP 2019.
    • Must have experience with AutoCAD 2019. (3D experience a plus, but optional)
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a MEP firm as a BIM Manager.
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as CAD manager.
    • Must be proficient in setting up architectural backgrounds for MEP design uses.
    • Must be proficient in creating CAD blocks. (Dynamic Features a plus, but optional)
    • Must be proficient in creating Revit family content for MEP systems.
    • Must be knowledgeable about lisp routines / macros.
    • Familiarity of Autodesk Navisworks.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
      • Ability to set-up AutoCAD/Revit projects.
      • Ability to prepare floor, site, and other views using AutoCAD/Revit.
      • Ability to convert CAD drawings to Revit.
      • Ability to develop new custom family content.
      • Ability to organize and manage CAD/Revit libraries.
      • Ability to update CAD/Revit links.
      • Ability to perform coordination reviews and interference checks in Revit.
