Vistaprint's Customer and Competitive Insights team combines research, analytics, and strategy expertise and works in partnership with global teams across the organization to uncover market, customer, and competitive insights that inform short- and long-term business decisions. Our team is currently seeking an experienced Customer Research and Insights professional to manage the sharing of customer data to the organization on an ongoing basis, in exciting and innovative ways.

You're naturally inquisitive, resourceful, and not afraid to get your hands dirty. You have strong quantitative & qualitative skills and are able to make sense of loads of data. You're able to chase down leads, generate hypotheses, and connect the dots across multiple data sources to tell a compelling story. You're excited by being able to combine strategic thinking with insights all while being creative, innovative, and challenging the way things are done today. What You Will Do

In this key role you will help take our existing CX measurement system to the next level. You will:

  • Leading and executing quantitative, qualitative, and UX research to address key business questions and guide strategic recommendations across all areas of the business
  • Analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources (quantitative, qualitative, transactional, UX, syndicated research) to elevate key insights and uncover the true meaning behind the data
  • Being involved in projects and analysis spanning multiple business areas (brand, channels, product, pricing, etc.) and research/analysis techniques
  • Demonstrating flexibility to quickly respond to ad-hoc analyses or research requests common in this dynamic, fast-paced, data driven environment
  • Translating data and information into meaningful findings and insights that you are able to clearly communicate within your project team and to external stakeholders
  • Working to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and team in order to work collaboratively to deliver against objectives
  • Opportunity to develop over time to oversee large studies of critical strategic importance to the company
    Your Qualifications

    • 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in insights and market research, including planning, study development, data analysis, charting, integration, and summarizing data and insights across a variety of insights tools
    • Experience with a range of quantitative, qualitative, and UX research methodologies
    • Confidence in performing exploratory data analysis independently and distilling to key insights and recommendations
    • Demonstrated problem solving ability with emphasis on drawing inferences with data and strength in charting and representing data and information in creative and powerful ways
    • Ability to learn and quickly apply new tools and techniques, with business curiosity to understand how and where our insights can impact the business
    • Skills to effectively manage multiple projects supporting multiple internal stakeholders with strong communication and presentation skills
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to perform analyses and incorporating findings into PowerPoint presentations.
    • Experience in Qualtrics, Usertesting.com and other insights tools, as well as SPSS, MarketSight, or other data analysis tools a plus.
    • Related work experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in-house market research team at a retail or ecommerce company or a market research agency.
