Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an outgoing, problem solving, team-oriented HR
professional who will serve as the point of contact for most all
aspects of HR including recruiting, performance management and
coaching, on/off-boarding, training, policy implementation,
benefits communication, and compliance with all applicable laws,
regulations and operating procedures. This role also contributes to
the overall office management, ensuring that necessary workplace
resources are in place. The HR Manager is key to promoting company
values and a great work environment, assessing, and supporting
business needs, and ensuring the appropriate implementation of
company strategy and objectives. This position is based in our Las
Vegas office and services Las Vegas, CA and other remote staff
offices while reporting to the SVP, Human Resources at Oasis
Ensure the consistent application and practice of HR policies and
programs. Balance responsibilities as an advocate for employees and
a partner to management in helping grow and protect the
Partner with corporate recruiting resources to drive local talent
Respond to employee issues and formulate approaches for corrective
action and improvement based on situational analysis, company
policy and governmental mandates; coach employees and leaders,
craft warnings, process separations, conduct exit interviews and
administer performance appraisals.
Develop, implement, and cultivate positive employee experiences
through events, communications and recognition programs.
Manage administrative HR duties such as handling employee
inquiries, developing job documentation, onboarding new employees,
and assisting with employee surveys.
Assist those responsible for enterprise-wide program administration
(benefits, compensation, etc.) by providing local program expertise
and execution: addressing questions, resolving concerns, educating
Conduct and help develop employee training and development
Participate in the maintenance and update of HR information system
records, compile reports and contribute to accurate, consistent
retention of all employee records and files while maintaining
Provide support and guidance for top local business leaders which
aid in their decisions and interaction with the workforce.
Assist in certain office management activities as needed.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXERIENCE:
4-6 years of Human Resources generalist or related experience
Experience recruiting a variety of positions in different areas
(operations, finance, IT)
Requires proficiency in MS Office; benefits and ADP Workforce Now
experience is a plus
Some leadership experience preferred. Though this position does not
yet have direct reports, it heavily influences and coaches other
leaders directionally and procedurally
Experience in on/off-boarding, performance management, HR/Payroll
information systems and managing HR projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management,
organization skills, and the ability to maintain the upmost
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions while leading and coaching others as
Dependable, professional, resourceful approach with a strong work
ethic is a must
Strong collaboration and internal customer service orientation
Working knowledge of state and federal employment and labor law
