Mission Lane is seeking a Product Manager to join our geographically diverse team. We're looking for you to bring novel, highly engaging experiences to life for our customers through creative and non-conventional thinking. This role will deeply embed with the enterprise technology team focused on our decisioning platform to understand how to best utilize the capability for internal optimization and empowered customer experiences. This includes a focus on customers in a difficult financial state who are behind on their payments. Mission Lane strives to be an ally with all of our customers and we strive to offer meaningful experiences and provide appropriate assistance even during difficult items. By focusing on our decision platform, this role will have the opportunity to drive forward improved customer experience, value for Mission Lane, and overall decisioning capabilities. The impact you'll make:

You'll drive forward our mission of financial inclusion by optimizing a core platform need and dramatically improving our customer experiences contingent on more complicated decisioning flows.

And as a product manager, you'll:

• Be a thought leader for the company -- and outside the company --- innovating and driving exceptional experiences for our customers
• Be a critical part of the Product team, leading and building out strategy and corresponding roadmap(s)
• Be creative and driven to achieve results through 'outside the box' thinking
• Drive results focused on quality customer experience, the growth of our business, operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver in a high quality & high impact manner.
• Be passionate about delivering fair and clear credit to our customers
• Be flexible enough to take on projects crossing job definition lines (we're a startup, so you will wear more than just a PM hat)
  
  You'll thrive in this role if you have:
  
  • You are customer obsessed, and focus on solving for customer needs rather than executing against initiatives
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, managing technical software products from ideation to rollout and continuous optimization
  • 1+ years of direct experience in the fraud space, whether in Fintech or otherwise
  • A bias toward action and a proven track record of delivering minimum viable products to market at rapid speed
  • Persistence and creative 'get it done' approach to ensure successful outcomes for your product, our customers, our employees, and our company
  • Excellent communication skills to lead and inspire teams
  • A structured problem-solving approach to help a team work through a wide range of issues
  • Intellectual curiosity for emerging technologies and engineering challenges
  • Ability to actively seek out multiple opinions, yet make independent decisions and influence positive outcomes
