This is a Remote position. Must be willing to work ET business hours regardless of location, New York based candidates are preferred for future client interaction.*

Carat's Planning Team in New York, is looking to add an Associate Director, Media Planning to their team. You will set the working style for the group, lead the strategic direction, and be a marketing partner for the clients. You will be an expert on the clients' business and a leader on the business with the clients and within the agency.

Reporting to the Integrated Planning Director, you will oversee media plan output timelines, accuracy, and overall excellence, facilitate the collection and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media usage information and play a contributing role in the creation of the communications plans.

You will be the comprehensive specialist in existing and latest media opportunities that would be relevant to client. You will be fluent in main implementation and valuation techniques and sources: reach curve updates, MediaTools, windows of change, schedules, actualizations, econometric and brand measurement tools (MMM, METT, Equity Scan). Oversee the reporting of competitive market/media information for each brand/category, including business insights that can inform media and broader marketing actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of communications/media planning experience required
  • Experience managing a team of planners and supervisors required
  • Knowledge of digital media required
  • Knowledge of main implementation and valuation techniques and sources: reach curve updates, MediaTools, windows of change, schedules, actualizations, econometric and brand measurement tools (MMM, METT, Equity Scan).

      For individuals assigned to and/or hired in Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is $100 - $110k max, which is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other job-related qualifications. Pay ranges in locations other than Colorado may differ based on labor market wage rates in those locations. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
