This is Spiro, the brand experience agency for the NEW NOW.

The Spiro marketing team leads and develops the agency's vision, messaging, look/feel, and brand campaigns. We are a high-functioning team that take our work seriously, but don't take ourselves too seriously and try to have fun with the work we do. - Our Digital Marketing Director will work in collaboration with our brand marketing team to be a driving force of innovation and creativity in digital marketing outputs, campaign assets, content creation, website and platforms UX, and overall elevating our brand in the industry. - This position reports to our VP, Brand Marketing, while working closely with our vendors and cross-functional teams to create all graphics utilizing and reinforcing our brand guidelines. They will receive direction and oversight from the VP, but is expected to have the strategic ability and experience to produce work that may need to be edited, but not completely overhauled.

  • Ownership of Spiro's online digital marketing execution: Organize, develop, execute, track, and analyze metrics to improve brand awareness and lead generation results online.
  • Website management: Own the entirety of Spiro's websites from functionality, building new landing pages, and keeping the website(s) content current and continually refreshed with website platform. Manage all website vendors and contractors within budget and scope of work. Analyze web metrics to continually adjust to maximize leads from website, and report results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to key stakeholders.
  • SEO: Manage and own global SEO growth strategy working with internal stakeholders and our SEO agency on day-to-day execution.
  • PPC: Manage the strategy and execution of all paid digital campaigns with our digital media agency and in-house implementation. Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports. Evaluate trends and optimize campaigns with digital agency, including copy & messaging, creative, audience targeting, ads, landing pages, A/B tests, etc.
  • Social media: Collaborate with Social Media team to ensure there is a cohesive digital campaign with the company's paid and organic social media strategy and social content and on development of social media campaigns, community management and engagement.
  • Manage digital content hub and assist team with building out content in hub for all campaigns.
  • Manage organization of Spiro's SharePoint (intranet) and assist teams with department pages, as needed
  • Become ingrained in the Spiro brand guidelines, brand marketing platform, and campaigns to act as an extension of the brand marketing and creative team when developing and reviewing assets
  • Experience designing new, innovative creative concepts utilizing approved brand guidelines
  • Manage multiple projects and allocate, organize and plan resources to meet agreed delivery dates
  • Develop relationships with internal corporate team, creative contractors, agencies and third-party partners, as directed by the CMO and Sr. Director, Global marketing
  • Proactively manage and communicate with managers, cross-functional team, internal departments, and external vendors for all owned and assigned projects


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or equivalent
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
    • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, PPC, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
    • Experience in building and optimizing landing pages and customer funnels
    • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Marketo, Uberflip, Airtable, Sprout, Brandcast, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
    • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
    • SQL Database Knowledge is a Plus
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop a plus
    • Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to comfortably articulate oneself to decision makers at a variety of levels
    • Strong project and time management skills as well as attention to detail
    • Proactive team player who is energized and inspired by team environments and understands the importance of relationship building (internal and external) and meeting goals for overall success of the department and company
    • Solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to manage projects and expectations of internal and external clients and team members
    • Knowledge of the agency and events industry is beneficial
