ProfileDescription

The Associate VP - Portfolio Management and PMO collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The position requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the segment and the enterprise, and a strong ability to look horizontally across the organization to connect dots. The Associate VP - Portfolio Management and PMO provides 'situational awareness' across the segment technology investments and delivery portfolio.

Responsibilities

The Associate VP - Portfolio Management and PMO organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Decisions are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes, and develops and implements strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy. The emphasis on financial acumen cannot be overstated here, so if your PMO experience is limited to IT service strategy, scheduling, standards and delivery this may not be the role for you.
