Description:Summary:Responsible for the operational direction and administration of activities within the assigned departments and/or outlets within the Creative division. Assist the divisional executive with the development and execution of the division's strategic plans.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of assigned leadership staff
  • Oversee the execution of the division's operational plans in the assigned areas
  • Monitor and control labor costs by ensuring adequate coverage based on business demands
  • Ensure work performance standards, and employee development programs maximize the individual growth and development of staff
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Ensure department efficiency and rectify any issues that deter work from being completed at a high level and on deadline
  • Consistently meet with property decision-makers and develop open and effective communication to ensure clients (properties) are being valued and receiving above-expectation service
  • Act as a liaison between in-house agency and property and corporate executives regarding questions and concerns involving creative design and account management
  • Lead the unified process of marketing/concept/design/account service and post-production execution
  • Manage outside resources including vendors, freelancers and technology providers
  • Participate in development of department goals related to corporate marketing strategy
  • Drive constant improvement in best practices, creative, teamwork and capabilities
  • Ensure staff is producing creative product consistent with brand standards, targeted demographic and department expectations
  • Assure timely and informative communication between team and property clients
  • Participate in the process of concepting creative in all mediums when required
  • Develop leadership proficiency in web-based job-management software (Workamajig)
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsRequirements:Qualifications
    • At least 3 years experience performing same or similar job duties
    • Experience analyzing processes and procedures and developing corrections and/or new SOPs to make area of review more efficient and effective
    • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Previous experience managing multiple brand standards at the same time preferred
    • A thorough understanding of the creative services industry and expertise in all areas of design, copy, account service and production including print, outdoor, broadcast, interactive, web, video, and motion graphics
    • Previous experience managing a team of creative staff
    • Previous experience working in fast-paced department managing multiple projects at the same time while maintaining a positive work environment
    • Excellent communication and persuasion skills; written, verbal and digital
    • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
    • Experience working with project management software i.e. Workamajig, Clients&Profits, etc. preferred
    • Knowledge of Flash, Dreamweaver, simple HTML preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or other related field preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
    • Verify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards
