The VP, Project Management, will manage a team of Project managers who plan, execute, and deliver quality projects within budget and timeline. Strong listening skills and superb client service are key to winning. You'll be involved in leading project management to drive client and project success. You will not only help develop and execute the plans that allow our teams to create exciting work - but you'll also supervise a team of project managers and oversee large programs of work across multiple accounts. To succeed, you will need to be a creative advocate, strive to be proactive, have a passion for organizational development, maintain a deep project management toolkit and exercise excellent leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES Play the role of project management lead for all client relationships managed, providing strategic and creative thinking, partnering with client services and operations on accountability for project profitability, quality of delivery, and growth Lead efforts across the cross-disciplinary team to deliver the estimated business value of an approved project Facilitate, track and monitor projects, activities, and scope Define and adjust processes to meet project/business needs and look for ways to improve processes while coaching teams to do the same Ensure client services, operations, and other internal stakeholders are kept apprised of project status Participate in new business RFI or RFP requests when necessary Contribute to capability model definition and management Demonstrate strong written and oral presentation skills Develop and articulate compelling decks and lead training Manage multiple direct reports and set career and capability goals with them Enforce team compliance with high company standards and professionalism Participate in team and cross-capability recruiting, interviewing, and staffing Attend training seminars and continuing education as offered Inspire your team and influence them to perform at their best each day; this will ultimately determine the success of the project management organization. Maintain a positive mindset, encourage teamwork, and act as an impeccable brand ambassador for ASTOUND Willingness to travel within North America and overseas DAY-TO-DAY, YOUR ROLE INCLUDES: Being responsible for the direction, oversight, and outcome of multiple clients, projects, or processes Support incoming project planning and approval, including evaluation of workforce, facilities, and infrastructure Develop and deploy metrics for tracking project health and success, responsible for regular reporting of these metrics to the President and executive team Serve as group manager for all active project managers, providing feedback and mentorship in project execution, career growth and development, and project management practices Problem-solving project issues: assisting teams in resolution and successfully leading teams to develop risk mitigation plans Working with capability leads to understanding business needs and helping identify and solve staffing-mix issues to meet business goals Working with client services to establish best practice processes that meet client business needs Demonstrating the ability to deliver constructive feedback while outlining and facilitating development plans where needed Estimate and negotiate change orders and maintain change order logs Manage project budget and approves all expenses Interface with the owner on all projects assigned Assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documents Perform project punch-list inspection, where necessary Approves/oversees all requests for payments to vendors for labor and material charges related to jobs Maintains an accurate record of all historical quotations, work orders, invoices, detailed drawings, and final renderings for all projects Creates Scopes of Work with associated budgetary allocations for distribution to the Operations department Arrange or detailed drawings to be produced as required Other Duties as assigned DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience is required 12-15 years of experience in account/project management in a marketing organization or other professional services firm experience Mastery of large-level projects and programs Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization Highly motivated, responsive, and conscientious, with a commitment to delivering excellent service Knowledge of sales systems is an asset (Salesforce) Working knowledge of enterprise tools (JIRA, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Trello) PMP and/or CSM Certification (or desire to get this) An enthusiastic learner with superior creative, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills Has demonstrated consistent above-average performance evaluations in previous roles Ability to work in an environment characterized by constant change and tight deadlines Organizational and time management skills: Ability to set priorities and plan well in advance to meet multiple shifting deadlines. Detail Oriented - Keen attention to detail required Communication and interpersonal skills: Able to provide a clear, concise, accurate, and timely oral and written communication Strong team player with innovative ideas who can partner with others (internal and external) to achieve objectives as well as the ability to work autonomously Evidence of continued growth through education, skills training, and professional development BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION The compensation package (base salary plus performance-related pay) will be commensurate with experience.
