Independent Handyman & GM Assistant

Handyman Job Description:

We are on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our Las Vegas Fix-It department. You will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including maintaining deadlines, identifying the need for repairs, responding to clients' maintenance requests, and keeping a open of communication with management.

To be an effective handyman, you will be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates' talents.

Responsibilities:
* Perform basic tasks including filing order papers, transparency with management and constructive reasoning with approved orders. (Orders include assembly, carpentry, repairs, painting and filling crevices, ECT.) Managing maintenance repairs with out entitled supervision. staying updated with management to confirm finished, clean and complete orders.
* Perform repairs in a fashionable time, bring basic tools and a basic knowledge on equipment with the ability to problem solve.
* Detect and report the need for repairs and solutions.
* Regularly check-in for open orders, order-flow for current orders and delegated timelines.
* Respond to clients' maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Repairs, assembly, painting, construction, equipment, general appliances(ceiling fans,drywall,caulking,flooring), ECT.
* Maintain the cleanliness of work spaces such as household jobs, yard space, parking lots and sidewalks.
* Oversee job criteria and work assignments with professional consideration.
* Conduct performance assessments of general appliances, furniture assembly, and basic maintenance ("If pre-qualified" refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens, ceiling fans, ECT).
* Provide clients' with support and guidance on maintaining the repairs.

Requirements:
* Mechanically inclined and have basic tools. (Screw drivers/hammer/box cutter/ECT.)
* A minimum of 2 years' working experience in a maintenance role.
* Solid experience with repair, maintenance and general knowledge in drywall, plumbing, electrical systems.
* Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
* Extremely organized with good communication skills.
* Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Pay: $12.00 - $35.00 per hour

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:
