The Role: Sunbit is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, HR
to join our People team. This position will drive HR functional
excellence and process improvement by providing day to day support
for our team members both in-person and remote. Working from our
Las Vegas, Nevada office, this role will handle a wide variety of
initiatives including employee relations, performance management,
benefits and leave administration, job changes, policy
administration, and compliance. The Sr. Manager, HR will create
strong relationships as an advisor and coach to all employees and
managers in order to support the development and growth of our
greatest asset - our people. As we are a lean team, you will wear
many hats and take a key part in strategic initiatives that drive
us closer to delivering on our mission, while acting as a champion
and steward of our core values.
What Youll Be Doing:The Senior Manager, HR will provide day-to-day
support and administration for US-based team members, and build
trusted relationships with key stakeholders while having a deep
understanding of business objectives to provide sound guidance and
support their needs. S/he will partner with leaders at all levels
and have responsibilities including, though not limited, to the
following:
- Employee Relations and Performance Management
- Partner with supervisors to help resolve employee relations
matters, advising on disciplinary actions and conducting employee
investigations
- Coach and support supervisors and employees on various
performance related matters including job changes, Performance
Improvement Plans, terminations, and resignations
- People and Culture Program Support
- Partner with leaders at all levels to facilitate People
programs and initiatives including but not limited to onboarding,
performance management, employee engagement, and employee
development
- People Operations and Systems
- Benefits and Leave Administration including but not limited to
open and new hire enrollment, 401K, parental leave, and FMLA while
also providing continuous communication and educational resources
to our team
- Facilitate internal job changes such as raises, title
adjustments, and relocations; maintain company organization charts
and employee directory
- Field inbound requests and respond to inquiries in an
appropriate, accurate, and timely manner
- HR Compliance support: ensure all company HR policies are
applied consistently and in compliance with local, state and
federal regulations
- Maintain HRIS and other systems, processes, and documents;
ensure data integrity
- Monitor and support unemployment claims
Experience Requirements:
- 10-12+ years of experience in HR, ideally with a background as
an HR Generalist
- 5+ years supporting a combination of field teams, as well as
call center or other large in-person location with hourly team
members; experience with call centers (outbound or inbound) is a
plus
- Masters Degree in a related field and/or SHRM-CP or HCI
certification a plus
- Experience working with scalable HRIS and payroll systems, ADP
and BambooHR experience is a plus
- Proven experience supporting a variety of HR initiatives
including employee relations, performance management, and job
changes
- Knowledge of state, local and federal laws and procedures
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while
maintaining a high level of support
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential matters with the
utmost integrity
- Can do attitude and proactive nature; you roll up your sleeves
and have a track record of executing on large-scale People
processes and programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability
to prioritize effectively; Type A personality with a high level of
attention to detail
- Comfortable working through difficult situations and making
tough decisions with professionalism, integrity, and respect
