Our Company has a dynamic vision: To be the world's premier gaming entertainment company. -PRIMARY PURPOSE:The Senior Vice President Finance Planning and Analysis provides leadership and direction for the corporate Planning & Analysis department, to include Capital Investment oversight and tracking, Portfolio Performance Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, among others. This includes contributing to the creation of the strategic plan, managing enterprise-wide budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, and establishing financial KPI's for capital projects and new development initiatives. It is the responsibility of this executive to provide the company with ROI and business planning guidance. -PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a strategic vision for the Financial Planning & Analysis functions, with a key focus on accountability, KPI's and performance metrics for operations. Define and implement the methodology of effective budgeting, forecasting and fiscal business recommendations, including the development of systems and methods to be utilized during the process. Establish operating, capital and cash flow targets.
  • Establish and oversee process for financial analysis including establishing financial review cadence across all divisions, accountability process and measures, and review of corporate expense drivers. Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to establish sound operational practices that will drive greater accountability and cost efficiencies for the company. Partner with operations to articulate purpose and meaning for the organization; facilitate the integration of different business functions; set the direction and pace of change; sponsor and drive crucial change initiatives.
  • Set and own practices to ensure financial objectives are being met, such as partnering with operations management to ensure the establishment of sound operational business practices. All practices should maximize potential financial return, meet operations cost control objectives, and produce positive methods to ensure all projects/assignments lead to quality results, remain within budgetary constraints and meet targeted deadlines. Develop standardization of processes, systems and reporting leading to high quality, timely execution and elevated customer/client experience.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with stakeholders to drive accountability of budgets and asses ROI on projects and initiatives. Develop and maintain long-term capital investment plan and incorporate into the financial plan. Determine capital allocation required to achieve longer-term financial goals. Monitor actual spend against approved expenditures. Monitor and inform/explain variances in the budget during the reporting periods and make recommendations to leadership, taking corrective action as necessary. Identify processes to oversee and manage corporate expense drivers around travel, comps, etc., to include identifying cost saving measures.
  • Create and maintain a work environment that promotes internal guest service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's People and Talent strategies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    • At least twelve (12) years of experience in a leadership capacity.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
    • Must have financial analysis experience for a major hotel/casino and in-depth understanding and application of applicable federal, state, and gaming regulations.PREFERRED:
