The Regional Revenue Manager develops strategies for group and transient business thresholds within a five-year forecast to ensure measurable improvements in demand and availability. Supplies critical analysis on the effects of short-range decisions affecting occupancy, average rate, and room profit goals within the current 53-week period. Analysis of city events and activities projecting the effect of possible risks and opportunities.

Position Summary:


  • Responsible for final decisions on short-term and long-term pricing strategies & inventory controls. Leads revenue meetings providing direction to the Sales & Marketing Teams to improve performance


  • Establish Annual Budget & Forecasts for each property. Responsible for generating a minimum annual revenue of $42M+.


  • Provides critical analysis of strategies, room statistics, and demand factors: Reviews end-of-month rental statistics reports, including monthly revenue management reports, operations, and reports, and provides critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts, budget, and results of implemented strategies.


  • Conducts displacement analysis of group business as needed to determine the impact potential business will have on REVPAR.


  • Review tentative and definite group bookings to ensure support of implemented strategies. Monitors daily and weekly booking pace reports recommending strategy changes as needed. Analyzes past and present, driven and demand analysis: Reviews all competitive shop reports daily, identifying market demand and appropriate selling strategies to improve revenue.


  • Partner with 3rd party accounts to drive profitable business.


  • Site competitive set and network with competitive set colleagues. Maintains historical data on events and performance on any promotions during demand-generating events. This position requires minimal travel, only on an as-needed basis.

    • High School Diploma/GED


    • 3 + Years of related experience as a Hotel Revenue Manager


    • 2 + Years of management or supervisory experience


    • Handling Multi-property experience is vital for this role


    • Computer Experience with proficiency in Excel & Word


    • 10% Travel required

      It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


      • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree


      • Knowledge of OnQ R&I


      • 5-7 years of tried experience as a Hotel Revenue Manager
