Director of Procurement Astound Group is looking for full time Director of Procurement to join their team in. Position Overview: As the Director of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations and contributing to the company's success. You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement function, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, maximize profitability, and maintain the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans.Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.Monitor market trends and industry developments to anticipate supply chain challenges and opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and alignment.Implement sustainable procurement practices, considering environmental and ethical factors.Analyze and optimize procurement processes, driving continuous improvement and cost savings.Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and quality consistency.Develop and maintain procurement metrics and reports to track performance and make informed decisions.
