Our iconic MGM Resorts brands offer a wide variety of exciting career opportunities, each with access to unlimited growth . -PRIMARY PURPOSE:Reporting to the President of Operations, the Vice President of Event Productions is responsible for the strategy and oversight of MGM Resorts' event productions center of excellence. This center of excellence will provide end to end strategy, planning, marketing and execution solutions for MGM's hosted events. It will also provide the commercial strategy for the revenue-generating experiential design and d--cor agency. This role oversees the long-term strategic roadmap and vision for the event planning discipline company-wide, as well as serves as leader to both corporate and on-property event professionals.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct and oversee all creative and operational aspects of MGM Resorts International corporate events to include casino marketing events, employee engagement events, and other high-profile enterprise initiatives.
• Manage and drive revenue through commercial, creative, financial and operational aspects of MGM Resorts Event Productions- the company's wholly-owned freestanding experiential design and d--cor agency comprised of approximately 100 employees and providing approx. $25 million in services annually within and outside of MGM Resorts properties.
• Keep a pulse on the CoE's position in the industry, customer trends, competitive landscape and other areas which may affect the organization and the customer journey.
• Set strategic direction and continue to grow the relevance of a 25-year event company legacy making it the event agency of choice and a destination for customers, creative partners, and employees.
• Provide innovation and thought leadership in the events industry on behalf of MGM Resorts International.
• Define and maximize long-term revenue-generating business development opportunities by maintaining industry relationships, sizing the market opportunities and innovating offerings, as well as continuously improving the customer experience.
• Creatively foster broad-based solutions for events across corporate and property entities through an evolving calendar
• Define, quantify and execute cost avoidance and cost savings throughout MGMRI with utilization of in-house event services and resources.
