POSITION SUMMARY:The Charge Nurse isresponsible for the provision of patient care delivered on a nursing unit. The Charge Nurse is accountable for and hasthe authority to make decisions to promote quality patient care on their nursingunit. The Charge Nurse is expected toapply hospital policies and procedures, as well as Standards of Care in theprovision and supervision of patient care using the nursing process. Qualifications EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Current acute clinical care experience preferred; Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience requiredEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Graduate of Accredited School of NursingLICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:Current Nevada license to practice Nursing. Independently maintains license.
