Job Description:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker plans, organizes and implements the prescribed Behavioral Health Integrated Model of Care and clinical social work services for NVHC patients and their
families; serves as a therapist and resource person for NVHC patients in accordance with the
medical and behavioral plan of treatment; abides by the National Association of Social Work Code
of Ethics for social work in a healthcare setting.

Work Location/Hours/ Status/Travel: Las Vegas / Carson City, Nevada / Full-time with varied work hours - primarily M- F between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. / Travel may be required less than 20% of the time

Responsibilities:
Provides behavioral health services including: behavioral health screening; psychosocial
assessment; SBIRT; DSM V and ICD9/10 diagnosing;
Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children
from diverse backgrounds; crisis intervention; treatment, discharge and aftercare planning.
Utilizes evidenced based treatment modalities, for example, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of
psychiatric, medical, and social problems, to achieve treatment goals;
Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with goals that are problem
specific, measurable, achievable, time limited, and culturally sensitive, to assist patients
and families to cope and/or restore social, emotional, financial and environmental factors
that affect and/or are affected by illness;
Collaborates and consults with NVHC Primary Care Providers (PCP) and staff about the
behavioral health and psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of these needs on the
patient's health care and compliance with treatment.
Refers patients and their families to appropriate community agencies or organizations;
coordinates services with such agencies or organizations, and advocates for patients
and/or their families.
Makes clinical decisions on managing crisis walk-ins and calls
Collaborates with the Case Manager who provides ongoing case management, which may
include consultation with NVHC multidisciplinary team members and community based
service providers about the patient's treatment and discharge planning and aftercare
needs.
Participates in internal quality assurance and works with multidisciplinary team members
proactively to drive quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and
strategic goals of the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and
accreditation standards, when assigned
Other duties as assigned that are befitting to role as LCSW

Qualifications:
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution.
Current, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in the State of Nevada
A minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical social
work in a mental health setting working with adults, adolescents, children, and families
