Postdoctoral Scholar, School of Public Health [R0126210]

ROLE of the POSITION
The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to work closely with
faculty and staff from the School of Public Health, the Nevada
Minority Health and Equity Coalition and our associated community
partners to help advance the applied research mission and vision of
the school. Specifically, they will contribute expertise to several
funded research projects managed under the school, and will be
expected to work collaboratively with partners and faculty to apply
for extramural funding that is designed to reduce or eliminate
health disparities. The postdoctoral scholar will also be expected
to regularly publish peer-reviewed journal articles and participate
in ongoing coalition activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a PhD in Public Health or related field from
a regionally accredited college or university and excellent oral
and written skills. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start
of employment.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions.
Position is contingent upon funding.
