Quality Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Las Vegas, Nevada.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelAs travel nurses ourselves, we understand all the reasons to avoid taking an assignment with an agency you've never worked with before. We want to reward you for giving us a chance, so when you sign for your first assignment (of 13 weeks or more) with us from now until August 31st we will include a $1,000 bonus on your first paycheck.o Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 12 hours to complete.
  
  **CERNER experience required**
  
  - Unit: L&D (MCC - Maternal Child Care)
  - # beds: 23 Beds (80-90 births per month)
  - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate FHM are all required.
  - Advanced FHM is preferred
  - Ratios: Try to follow AWHONN if possible
  - EMR: Cerner
  - Charge Nurse: 24/7 - Do not take a patient assignment unless the needs of the unit demand this.
  - Nurse Aides: No nurse aides. They have a certified scrub tech for C-sections
  - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of a 4 week scheduled
  - Holidays: Work into the perm staff rotation
  - Scrub Color: Navy or can wear blue surgical (hospital) scrubs
  - Tele: Phillips (Central Monitor Station on IMC)
  - Vents: No
  - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Laborist in-house 24/7
  - IV Team: No
  - RT 24/7: Yes
  - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, as well as Omnicell & the tube system
  - Shifts: 12 hr shifts - 7a-7:30pm;7pm-7:30am, self scheduling but manager has to balance it. Block scheduling is not guaranteed
  - Floating: Would float to other units to TASK only
  - Floor specific orientation: 4-6 shifts (1 shift on labor side, 1 shift in the OR, 1 shift post partum)
  - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: They 'catch' babies on this unit. 32 Weeks or above, high risk deliveries, multiples, magnesium. MUST be able to circulate C-Sections. Scrubbing would be a PLUS.
  - Additional Notes: If traveler even THINKS there may be time off they want to request, even if this isn't for sure, they want to have it on our interview form, just in case, otherwise the time off would not be guaranteed.Quality Nurses Job ID #d415908.
