We seek AANC Adult or Family Nurse Practitioners or NCCPA Physician Assistants to join our Community Center team. -As a Community Center NP-PA you will be conducting yearly physical assessments on seniors. You will also have an important role in educating senior patients on preventive measures to keep them healthy. Work schedules: 10 hours shifts. No weekends.

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner Certification in Primary Care, Geriatric, Adult or Physician Assistant certification
  • Active APRN or PA-C unrestricted License in Nevada, or ability to obtain
  • 1+ years of documented clinical practice experience either in primary care, emergency medicine, or urgent care settings. New Geriatric Nurse Practitioner graduates will be considered
  • Ability to communicate with patients, primary care team members and management staff
  • Provides clinical expertise and mentoring for clinical staff.
  • Ability to make care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
  • Basic technical proficiency in the use of computer programs for medical records or internet search for clinical practice
  • Advanced assessment and treatment plan implementation skills
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

    • DEA License -
    • Geriatric care experience
    • Familiarity with Medicare Wellness exams, HEDIS/STAR measures, and ICD-10 coding
