Job Description:The Member Support Specialist will provide ongoing support and expertise throughout assessment and planning of individual members' needs. This role is patient facing and similar to a community health worker. The overall goal of the position is to enhance the quality of patient management and to promote continuity of care and cost effectiveness through therapeutic interaction, supportive education, active listening, advocacy, collaboration with providers and community referral.The Company:Arkos Health is a new kind of healthcare company that serves health plans and provider organizations an integrated system-of-care comprised of clinical and social services backed by a robust technology platform. By engaging individuals with virtual, in-home, in-clinic and in-facility care options, Arkos Health delivers advanced community-based health services that allow our clients to live healthier, more independent lives.All Employee MUST be fully COVID-19 Vaccinated.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide support services and therapeutic interaction to plan members to promote member engagement in company programs.Provide services such as: community referrals, supportive services, crisis intervention, member advocacy in support of member and overall goal.Conduct member outreach through home visits and welfare checks to assess member for program participation.Work collaboratively with other agencies involved in member's careDemonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situationsQualifications/Skills:Must have current BLS/CPR certificationMust have proof of current TB test- company providedCurrent Hep B test- or waiver - company providedCurrent Flu shot- or waiver and maskExperience interacting with people with behavioral health issues.Must have valid driver license and appropriate liability insurance.Must be comfortable driving in the field up to 80% of the time and reporting to office when not actively scheduled in the fieldBenefits:Fully paid employee medical/dental/vision/life/short term disabilityEmployer matching 401(k)15 days annual combined sick/PTO with 9 paid holidaysMust complete our Culture Index Survey.
