Unlock your potential at Sunrise Hospital!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse performs the active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. May assume the role as Team Leader for part or duration of shiftMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
  • Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) and Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) - Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certification
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Current BLS and NRP. Able to pass NICU pharmacology test within 2 attempts
  • Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certificationEDUCATION: -
    • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
    • BSN preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
      • Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required
      • Specialty Certification is required:
      • TNCC within one year of hire for PICU and Peds ED
      • ENPC within one year of hire for Peds ED
      • Complies with hospital employee health, infection control and safety management programsEXPERIENCE: -
        • Current acute clinical critical care experience preferredLICENSURE: -
          • Current -Nevada -license to practice Nursing
          • Independently maintains license
