The ideal provider is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has two (2) years of experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting as a Nurse Practitioner. Job Responsibilities for the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

• Assessing urgent care patients' charts, prescribed medications, and test results upon arrival.
• Performing physical examinations, as well as and tracking heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
• Interpreting health measurements, administering prescribed medication, and facilitating suitable treatment interventions.
• Inserting IVs and performing drug dose titration.
• Collecting phlebotomy and other diagnostic samples.
• Interpreting laboratory test results and collaborating with physicians on treatment plans. Requirements for the Urgent Care NP
  • Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Emergency Nurse Practitioner
  • 2+ years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience as an NP
  • Valid Nevada license or eligible to obtain.
  • DEA Certificate
