Are you a Licensed Audiologist looking to take on an assessment role? Would you find it rewarding to serve the Veteran community? This is a travel opportunity. Audiologist will travel to different locations across the United States, staying in the destination city for a week at a time to conduct exams, Monday to Friday. You choose which weeks you would like to travel. We are looking for an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the V A's disability benefits process. The Veteran files the claim before they see you. All of their medical records are uploaded into a computer portal and you will be able to review these during the appointment. You will conduct a Maryland C N C Test and Puretone Audiometric test. The Audiologist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire ( D B Q) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the V A to decide the veteran's benefits. Audiologist will N O T prescribe any medical treatments or devices. This position will review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average. Schedule: You will typically travel from your home Sunday evening, returning home Friday evening. This is an I N- P E R S O N position that offers: 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales Requirements M R G Exams is looking for an Audiologist who: Has an Au. D and has graduated from an A S H A Accredited school. Holds a current license as an Audiologist ( Due to portability rules any State license can be used in all 50 States) Benefits $3000 a week.
