As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and locations, gaining valuable experience and skills.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty and be an active RN license holder. As an operating room first assistant, you will serve as the primary assistant to the surgeon during surgery, preparing and using surgical equipment and instruments, cutting and handling tissue, controlling bleeding, monitoring patient status, and bandaging wounds.Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgery, preparing and using surgical equipment and instruments
• Monitor patient status and bandage wounds
• Control bleeding and maintain a safe operating environment
