We are looking for a dedicated OR Technician Cert like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Certified Operating Room Technician is a skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the C/S and /or operating room suite. Assists with surgical procedures in scrub duties. Assists in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients. Performs all related duties as assigned and directed. Facilitates the provision of individualized patient care. Reports to Registered Nurse on each case and the Clinical Manager and the Director of Surgical Services.   • You will assist surgeons by passing instruments, medications, supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating surgeons' needs during the course of surgery
  • You will assist in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients
  • You will maintain correct counts per policy
  • You will need to understand concepts of appropriate decontamination handling of instruments and suppliesQualifications
    • Graduate from high school or equivalent program.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
    • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support.
    • Current certification by the NBSTSA, AST, NCCT or NCCSA required
