Connecting. Growing together. The Patient Care Coordinator is
responsible for general clinic office functions that support
efficient and effective patient care including patient
registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable
co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and
follow-up appointments and answering phones. Hours: This position
is full-time (40 hours/week). Monday through Friday from 8:00am to
5:00pm. The supervisor will determine the schedule. May be asked to
float to other practices as needed. Location: 8526 Dell Webb Blvd.,
Las Vegas, NV 89134, and 25% travel to other Las Vegas locations
Primary Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional service to all
customers - Greets patients as they arrive and manages wait time -
Complete check-in tasks to include insurance verification and copy
required documents - Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and
deductibles and issues receipts - Manages cashier box and daily
deposits according to company policies - Processes walk-in patients
and visitors - Schedules appointments as necessary, verifying
correct visit type and primary care provider - Manages medical
records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule) - Ensures
all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for
medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc. -
Responsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicate
pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been
assisted - Work with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient
flow - Resolve service issues and complaints, and defer to
appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessary -
Assist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to
include but not limited to, floating to other areas - Establish and
maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees,
and the public - Performs all other related duties as assigned What

Diploma/GED (or higher) - 1 years of customer service or healthcare
experience - Beginner level of proficiency with MS Office (Word,
Excel, Outlook, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual in
Spanish/English Soft Skills: - Ability to work independently and
maintain good judgment and accountability - Demonstrated ability to
work well with health care providers - Strong organizational and
time management skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
to meet all deadlines - Ability to work well under pressure in a
fast-paced environment - Excellent verbal and written communication
skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying
information in a manner that others can understand, as well as
ability to understand and interpret information from others Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to local labor
