Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, on call - Employment Type: Travel Overview Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech) Facility: Henderson Hospital Location: 1050 W Galleria Dr, Henderson, NV 89011 Shift: 07:00am-15:30pm (8-hour shift) Pay: Full-Time Permanent; Between $41.02 - $54.35 Relocation Reimbursement would be up to 5k MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE TO APPLY ON CALL: IR Tech will do 6-week schedule 18 days in a 6-week period. Job Description Henderson Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role supports high-quality patient care and collaborates closely with physicians and the cath lab/interventional team. Responsibilities - Perform cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures - Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures - Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards - Operate imaging equipment and monitoring devices - Provide age-appropriate patient care and support - Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols Minimum Qualifications Education - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program - OR - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program - Must complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within the first 6 months of employment Experience - 2-year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab for RCIS-certified candidates - OR - 2 years' experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates Technical Skills - Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with cardiovascular and interventional procedures Licenses & Certifications (Required) - Nevada Radiation Control License (Active) - ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) registration OR RCIS certification - BLS (AHA) – current Additional Requirements - Ability to provide care appropriate to patient age and condition - Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills - Commitment to patient safety and quality care Why Join Henderson Hospital - Modern facility with advanced imaging technology - Collaborative clinical environment - Opportunity to work in a high-acuity interventional setting About Halcyon Nurse Staffing At Halcyon Nurse Staffing, we specialize in providing top-tier travel, Per diem, and Permanent staffing solutions nationwide.
