Job Description Job Description Minimum Experience: 2–5 years acute care nursing experience Seniority Level: Mid–Senior Management Experience: Required Role Summary Our client is seeking an experienced nursing leader to provide 24-hour operational and clinical oversight for an Emergency Department unit. This role is responsible for ensuring that patient care delivery consistently meets established clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards. The position is well suited for a BSN-prepared nurse with strong emergency room experience and proven leadership capability in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Provide continuous oversight of the assigned Emergency Department unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and regulatory requirements. Lead, support, and guide nursing staff to promote clinical excellence and operational efficiency. Monitor unit performance, patient outcomes, and staffing effectiveness. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care delivery. Address operational or clinical issues promptly to maintain patient safety and service standards. Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of nursing experience. Recent acute care Emergency Room nursing experience. Prior leadership experience in a clinical or supervisory capacity. Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Willingness to travel occasionally, as required. Compensation & Work Model Full-time position. Comprehensive benefits package.
