Responsibilities Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital
featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an
average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center
with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced
cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive,
communication skills and/or swallowing function and providing
goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or
swallowing potential. Qualifications Job Requirements: Education:
Master’s Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA
academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical
Competence. Experience: One (1) to two (2) years’ experience
preferred. License/Certification: Nevada State License as a
Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the
process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS
certification. Other: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills
necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served
