Duties include assessing nutritional status, developing care plans, educating patients and families, calculating nutritional and actual intakes and preparing special diets. Qualifications Qualifications: Education Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA). Experience Completed a CADE-accredited supervised practice program at a healthcare facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation, or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies. Typically, a practice program will run six to twelve months in length.
