Job Description:
Sonora Quest Laboratories, an integrated laboratory system borne
from the collaboration between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics,
is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team in the
River Cities area. This position plays a critical role in our
mission to provide top-tier diagnostic testing services across
Arizona. Our Phlebotomists are crucial in collecting, transporting,
and processing blood samples from patients, contributing to the
accurate diagnostic outcomes that healthcare providers depend on to
make informed medical decisions. Collect blood samples from
patients practicing proper venipuncture techniques Label and
process blood samples in accordance with applicable legal and
professional standards Maintain accurate patient records and data
integrity Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and
work areas Communicate effectively with patients to explain
procedures Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure
patient and personal safety Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to facilitate a seamless workflow Proficient in
venipuncture and specimen handling Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
effectively under pressure Detail-oriented with a dedication to
accuracy Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification
preferred Current CPR certification is an advantage
