Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and telemetry familiarity, working night shifts every other weekend. Details - Hospital-based Medical Surgical unit - Patient ratio of 1:5-6 - Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) - Every other weekend required - Floating to other Med/Surg units may be required - Charting via Meditech (experience preferred but not required) - Remote telemetry monitoring may be part of the role - Orientation held every Monday - Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements - Active AZ RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand - Current BLS certification required - Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required - Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote telemetry monitoring - Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration - Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information - Local candidates are accepted for this position - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-687453.
