High-rise Condominium Valet/Property Service Staff Member High-Rise Condominium Association in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking applicants for a full-time Valet/Property Service position. This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.Requirements:

  • Experienced Valet knowledge with valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Front Desk/Hospitality customer service experience.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • The physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, walk long distances, climb stairs, dig with shovels, work basic equipment, get into and work in small spaces, lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, and lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • The ability to work any and all hours needed, including being called in for emergencies, which could include overtime. The Company tries to maintain as stable a schedule as possible for all staff members. Shifts will always be assigned for the maximum benefit of the Company.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, other staff members, Management, and residents/homeowners/guests professionally and respectfully at all times. This will include communications with vendors and outside contractors.
  • The ability and attitude to learn, take constructive direction with a positive attitude and demeanor to learn whatever is needed and maintain a friendly workplace.
  • The willingness and ability to follow the Company's Mission Statement and core values to present the Company's authentic Corporate Culture.
  • The willingness and ability to document all work, work with contractors and vendors, receive and sign off on work done by outside contractors, document receipt of purchases and supplies, and all other required documentation.
  • All other job duties and requirements as assigned.
  • No visible tattoos on the hands, neck, or face.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • A 90-day introductory period is required. Under certain circumstances, this period may be extended for another 90-days up to two (2) additional introductory periods.
  • COVOD-19 Vaccination Required.Monetary Compensation:
    • The beginning 2021 pay rate for this position is $14.88 per hour, and will increase to $15.43 after the completion of the introductory period. In 2022, these rates increase by 4.94% for Cost of Living Increases.
    • The Company pays overtime (1 - times regular hourly wage) for all hours worked over 40 hours per week. This is for hours worked and does not include non-worked hours, such as Vacation, Sick, or Holiday.
    • If an employee goes home after completing a shift and then is called back in, an additional two (2) hours will be paid to the employee to cover the extra time for travel and arrangement inconvenience beyond the hours worked on the call in.
    • There are seven (7) paid holidays per year. If the employee works on a Holiday, which is likely, as this is a 24/7 Company, the employee receives the regular wage for working and the Holiday pay. At no time will Holiday pay be considered overtime.
    • Every year, an analysis of cost-of-living increases is performed. If it is determined a cost-of-living increase is warranted, and the Board of Directors approves this increase with the upcoming year's Annual Budget, then said increase would be applied on the first (1st) pay period in which the Budget is applicable.
    • This is a non-tipping establishment. All staff members are prohibited from accepting tips and can be terminated for accepting tips.
    • Although employment reviews are done each year, reviews that may result in a tiered hourly wage increase are done at 90-days, 3 years, 7 years, and 10 years. Other reviews may or may not result in an hourly wage increase.
    • Generally speaking, all employees receive a Holiday Bonus in mid-December, but this is not guaranteed, and amounts are determined during each applicable year.Benefits (Non-Monetary Compensation):
      • After a 90-day introductory period (or inclusive of any trial period extensions), health, dental, and vision insurance will be offered. At the present time, the Company pays almost 100% of the cost of these benefits, with the employee only paying $10.00 per pay period. This is for the employee only. Any full-time employee can add family, spouses, and dependents to these insurances, but the employee pays the full cost (at the Company group rates) for any family, spouse, or dependent added to the insurance. In 2022 the employee will pay $15.00 each payday towards the cost of insurance.
      • The employee begins to accrue Vacation and Sick time to use in the future on the hire date (or inclusive or any trial period extensions). An employee must be employed for a minimum of 1 year before Vacation time can be used. All Vacation time must be pre-approved at least one month in advance by the supervisor, Human Resources, and the General Manager. Accrued Sick time may be used as needed (within the Company's restrictions after the completion of the introductory period), and the Company does pay for COVID-related absences at the regular time for the scheduled time without deducting it from any accrued Sick time balances for all full-time employees. Sick time accrual is a set amount and never increases with tenure; however, Vacation time is tiered on a set schedule with a defined tenure. At no time will Vacation or Sick Pay ever be considered overtime. There is no obligation for the company to pay any Accrued Sick or Vacation time until after the Employees completes the introductory period. If an employee terminates, any accrued sick time is lost.
      • The Company offers each employee that works over 1,000 hours per year to contribute to the Company SIMPLE IRA through payroll deduction contributions. The Company provides a matching contribution up to the lesser of what the employee contributes, or 3% of the employee's gross annual pay. The employee meets with a licensed representative and decides which funds said employee wants to contribute to. This is offered after all trial periods have been completed.
      • The Company pays for up to $15,000 of Life and AD&D insurance for each full-time employee (amounts determined by insurance Age restrictions for group policies) after all introductory periods have been completed.
      • Direct Deposit of paychecks is offered by the Company but not required.Nevada is an "At Will" State, and no jobs or schedules are ever guaranteed.At no time will any discrimination of any kind, including, but not limited to, sexual, racial, ethnic, religious, gender, age, political, or disability, be allowed, and such actions are grounds for immediate termination.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $14.88 per hourBenefits:
