Reporting to the Director of Corporate Human Resources, the Corporate HR Business Partner manages day to day HR Operations for the HR Effectiveness and Policy team to deliver excellent HR service to the Corporate Team Member population.

  • Frequently engages in consultative conversations with VP/SVP level, with the ability to ask tough questions, deliver feedback, proactively identify and diagnose issues
  • Understands the interworking and operations of client group departments and works to actively identify business needs from the HR perspective
  • Demonstrates results based on feedback as key advisor to the business
  • Maintains departmental scorecard inclusive of, but not limited to Team Member engagement, leadership qualities, talent development, talent acquisition
  • Change management for HR and business-related changes on an as-needed basis
  • Ensures HR and business strategies are in alignment and gains leadership support in strategic HR activities
  • Learns and understands the Team Member population of client groups. Regularly meet with Team Members to understand and become immersed in the day to day to best advocate and determine strategy for meaningful improvements in overall Team Member work-life and experience
  • Serves as a coach and consultant for client groups for all levels from hourly professional through Senior VP
  • Handles full range of Team Member Relations (ER) cases and performance management for Corporate population through Director level for client groups
  • Attend Staff meetings to gain a full understanding and build relationships with client groups
  • Implements strategies to drive TM engagement specific to the culture and needs of the department
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to communicate department needs and streamline the recruitment process of internal and external candidates
  • Identifies areas of opportunity and solutions to partner with stakeholders for Talent Management
  • Identifies Training opportunities and best practices
  • Succession planning and talent reviews to align with Companywide strategy and suit department needs
  • Advisor to client groups on compensation associated with career progression promotions, expanded scope of work, off-cycle increases, and provides input on overall compensation strategy for client group departments to ensure compensation strategy is market-competitive and aligned with business needs
  • Manages and advises client group leadership on organizational effectiveness and design for respective teams
  • Workforce and talent planning to suit business needs and overall talent strategy for client groups
  • Utilizes Oracle HCM and ORC modules to enter transactions, provides training/guidance to department leaders & Team Members on business-facing modules
  • Mentors and develops Corporate Generalist and/or Corporate HR Advisor as a well-rounded HR professional
  • Assists and provides input on Corporate recognition program strategy
  • Assists HR effectiveness team with handling enterprise investigations
  • As needed, travel to properties across the enterprise to assist with HR Leader openings, hires, or transitions.


    • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree in Human Resources or business-related a plus
    • Two to three years Human Resources experience required
    • One to two years of managing Team Members preferred
    • Two to three years of managing projects in an HR capacity preferred
    • Three years of Human Resources in a hospitality or gaming environment preferred


      • Proven ability to manage projects from start to completion while keeping with assigned timelines
      • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as a passion for driving superior results
      • Expert level knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
      • Ability to influence decision making without direct authority
      • Proficiency required in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Intermediate-Expert preferred
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
      • Must demonstrate high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
      • Must be able to work collaboratively within team and cross-functionally
      • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business


        • Must be able to work independently
        • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
        • Respond to visual and aural cues
        • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
        • Must be able to tolerate areas containing cigarette smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights
        • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives
