QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication skills both in oral and written and being able to educate and convince people by knowledge and personality

• Experience in business analyst in big data domain such as use cases and technology;

• Demonstrated experience working as part of a team to define need, transform into requirements, specify deliverables, and deliver against identified requirements. Ability to participate in requirements justification via cost/benefit analysis using payback models, internal rates of return, etc.

• Direct experience delivering requirements trace-ability (i.e., ensuring defined requirements are appropriately delivered via participation in independent verification and validation)

• Ability to learn quickly.

• Bachelor?s Degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Information Management, Business) or equivalent work experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

STRATEGY AND PLANNING

• Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to determine project scope and vision

• Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes, as well as their characteristics

• Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods

• Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics

• Assist project sponsors and stakeholders in justifying initiative investment based upon anticipated returns/value to the business

• Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements and manage the progress and timetable for deliverables

• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by project sponsors
