Scion Technical Search has been engaged to conduct a search for a Principal Architect for our incredible client Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada!

The Principal Architect will have the opportunity to lead the overall architecture, design and implementation of loyalty products and programs. In this role you will create, implement and maintain a 360 view of software technologies used within the computer intelligence/AI engineering team. This position will be spearheading new ways to improve overall operational success and innovation at a company where modern technology and AI is heavily emphasized, supported, and well-funded!

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading the software architecture and design of complex software system and products, employing modern technologies.
• Developing and coding integral aspects of the system, including frameworks and core components.
• Ensuring systems need to meet feature requirements, scalability, extensibility, reliability and other key non-functional requirements.
• Cross-collaborating external teams, such as with peer engineering departments, Enterprise Architecture, and key stakeholders and customers.
• Mentoring other Engineers to develop Software Architecture and Systems design skills.
  
  What You Will Need
  
  • Bachelor degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in this field.
  • Experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring, Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on in Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Innovative minds are encouraged to apply, having patents is a bonus for this role!
  • Experience as a software architect and performing hands on leading design of complex systems.
    
    Compensation
    
    Our client offers extremely competitive compensation packages including but not limited to a starting base salary range between $200K - $230K+ annually (salary is flexible for the right fit) and 20% annual bonus, ability to work remotely as needed, relocation to Las Vegas provided, home office set up, competitive sign on bonus, generous healthcare, dental, vision insurances, 401Ks, extremely competitive PTO and more!
